Slow Start Valve
For pumps that are not primed, the un-throttled opening of the compressed air supply can cause extreme loads on housing materials and diaphragms resulting in a high wear rate. Such pressure shocks can be reduced to a minimum by a slow and gradually adjustable pressure increase. The slow start valve can be used on all air operated diaphragm pumps.

Mechanical Level Control
Enables automatic control of fluid level when using air operated diaphragm pumps. When the fluid level rises the float is lifted up, activating a mechanical valve which allows the air supply in to the pump to begin operation. As the fluid level drops the float closes the valve and the operation stops. Process repeats automatically as required by fluid level.

Batch Counter
Pumps can be used with an automatic filling control whereby the required pumped volume can be programmed in litres. The pump delivers medium until the set quantity is reached and is then shut down.

Diaphragm Leak Detection
This option is recommended wherever chemically aggressive, environmentally hazardous or toxic media are transferred, and is available for conductive and non-conductive materials as well as for Ex-areas.

Air Filter Regulator
If only poorly treated compressed air is available, pumps should be fitted with an upstream service unit. The special filter cleans the compressed air from residues of water and oil droplets whilst the integrated pressure regulator independently maintains the working pressure at a constant level.

Trolleys
All DEPA Air Operated Diaphragm pumps can be supplied as mobile units. Trolleys are of paint finished steel or extra-bright stainless steel construction, and can be fitted with a handle, two or four castors, and collecting basin as required by the customer.

Pulsation Dampeners
Installed immediately after the pump, active pulsation dampeners significantly reduce remaining pulsations. This range is suitable for intermittent operating conditions and automatically adjusts to the optimal degree of dampening. A separate air supply is required. Pulsation dampeners require minimum maintenance and depending upon on the application, are available in the same housing and diaphragm materials. Passive pulsation dampeners are installed directly after the pump, and this type is particularly suitable for continuous operating conditions. They are available with a wide range of housing materials, including, Aluminium, Cast Iron, Stainless Steel, Polished Stainless Steel, Polypropylene, Conductive Polypropylene, PTFE & Conductive PTFE.

Fluid & Air Connections
A wide range of couplings, flanges and fittings are available and depending upon the type of pump, can be supplied in aluminium, brass, stainless steel or plastic.

Suction & Discharge Hoses
Suction and discharge hoses are available in nominal sizes ranging from 1” to 4” diameter. They can be connected with quick couplings, and all are individually pressure tested before despatch. The range includes standard spiral hoses with plastic or steel reinforcement, hoses for chemical applications and those approved for food applications.

High Performance Silencer
For enclosed areas, or areas where people are working nearby the fitting of a high performance silencer will further reduce noise levels of the DEPA pump
