Tomlinson Hall named as a 2018 Northern Powerhouse Export Champion

We are delighted to announce that Tomlinson Hall has been named as a Northern Powerhouse Export Champion 2018 by the Department for International Trade (DIT).

2018 Northern Powerhouse Export Champions are companies from across the North of England who are dedicated to growing their exports, and who have made a commitment to helping other companies do the same - increasing prosperity and growing GDP by seizing the opportunities offered by trading in a global market.

The Export Champions programme, now in its sixth year, has gone from strength to strength, with more businesses joining each year.

This year, 92 companies from the North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber represented the entire Northern Powerhouse region.

The Export Champions represent a wide range of sectors and all will be working with DIT to motivate and assist other businesses on their export journeys and leading by example as they continue to win new international business and reach out to new markets.

We have exported our innovative liquid ring vacuum pump, Liquivac, to countries across the globe where it is used in applications in chemical processing, seawater extraction/desalination, land remediation, food and drink processing and utilities.

Tomlinson Hall has also worked in partnership with DIT to identify new opportunities for our Liquivac pump, which is manufactured at our Billingham premises.
